an unguided moment
stumbled upon
and lifted

your words shatter
hearts
     ears
minds
(they reach farther than the moon!)
encased in a delirious
moment
and fiercely
burning from a place
unknown to me

I am struggling
tangled and lost
unable to grasp
(incapable of saying!)
words I do not mean
and feelings I cannot
return

yet
I am anxious to wonder
at this marvel
this foreign sea
of torrid thoughts
humid
and so unmistakably
real
from which it is impossible
for me to
turn away
